How to identify problem on the remote controlled HDTV Antenna?

1.  Antenna does not rotate?

Please follow these steps to identify the problem.

1)  Is your control box power ON ?

If No, check the power adapter and the switch on the control box, make sure the adapter is connected and switch is turned on.
->If you have a voltage meter, you can use the meter to test the adapter to see it has output to determine the problem.
->If you do not have a voltage meter and check everything seems normal, usually the problem is happened on the control box inside has defective.

If Yes go next question

->Check if you can see green light come ON when you press the rotation button.
If green light does not come ON, maybe there is problem with the control box, it did not send rotation signal to the Antenna

2)  Is the LED light on the Antenna ON?

If Yes, the light is ON on the antenna, then the problem may be on the motor rotor.
->Unscrew the motor rotor from the antenna and check the Pin, make sure it has good contact with the antenna when you install it on.

If NO, then there may be connection problem between the control box and the  Antenna, replace the cable to test.
Make sure it is a direct connection from the antenna to the control box. Do not use splitter between the control box and Antenna.

If you change the cable and the LED light comes on the antenna, then the problem is on the cable.
If you change another cable and still have the problem, then the problem maybe on the control box ANT port, it does not have output to the Antenna.

2. TV No reception?

1) Is your Antenna power on and can rotate?

Make sure that the Antenna work normal first, if antenna does not rotate, check with question 1 on the top.
If Antenna can rotate, switch the cable from TV1 to TV2 to your TV, and then scan the channel again. Usually the Antenna is no problem if can rotate. Need to Check the TV setting.

2)  What kind of TV do you have?

If the Antenna works fine, then problem probably is on your TV.
If you have an old style TV, you will need a converter box first.
If you have a HDTV, then need to make sure the signal source is set on Air or Antenna before you scan the channels.

3. How can I connect my Antenna to more TVs?

For the HD-2605, 2805, if you have more than two TVs, you can use a splitter after the TV1 or TV2 on the control box.
